There will be road officials en route also to guide you.

Directions
I have attached a detailed map from the N21 (Tralee/CastleIsland road).
It is 3km from the main N21 road where you turn off at O Riadas Bar to the farm yard of Tom Herlihy where the event is taking place.

Give yourself plenty of journey time …allow for delays and parking.

Ideally you should be arriving at the yard between 9.15-9.30am.

What should I wear?
Wear light clothing that dries quickly.

If it is a cold day, heavier clothing will not dry and you will be colder when all is said and done. Gloves are by personal preference.

Shoes should be normal running/walking shoes that lace tightly.

The Route is wet and muddy!!  Will there be a place to clean off after the race?
Yes, there will be hoses available at the finish line for participants to rinse off.

Also, we HIGHLY encourage you to bring a change of clothes as you WILL be absolutely filthy at the finish line.

We will have male and female changing areas.

You will be close to your car to get your belongings.

Is this going to be difficult?
The route can be as challenging as you want it to be.

You can run, walk or crawl! It is wet and muddy!!

All obstacles have been designed with safety in mind.

Any obstacles you feel is too difficult for you, you can pass.

There will be stewards at each obstacle if you need assistance.

Can I dress up?
Yes, it’s all up to you!

BBQ

There will be a BBQ in the farm yard after the event. All participants will receive a burger and refreshments.
